Hi, I’m zennora, your skin care mentor. Let me introduce myself.

“I am Zennora the Skin Care Master.”

“Zennora? That’s a nice name.”

You smile at her comment and tell her to go ahead with whatever she has in mind. She looks around for something to use as a brush, but you point out that it would be better if she used some of the other tools on hand. She seems to understand and grabs an implement that looks like a paintbrush but has a thicker handle. She proceeds to use it to paint your back with the mark of a skin care expert.

“Just so you know, Zennora the Skin Care Master is a bit of an exaggeration. I’m just more knowledgeable about skin care than most,” you say.

“Everyone has their limits.” She smiles. “Let’s move on to the facial masque.”

Zennora proceeds to apply a thick white substance to your face which causes you to gag and cough.

“Are you OK?” she asks.

“I’m fine,” you sputter, “just blind my eyes for a moment.”

She complies and takes off her white glove. You rub them and your vision clears.

“There,” you say, “better.”

Zennora smiles and tells you to turn around so that she can apply the facial masque to your back.

“We’re almost finished,” she says.

A few more moments and your back is covered in white goop. You thank her for her kindness.

“No problem at all,” she says. “It’s my pleasure.”

Zennora takes her white gloves out of your hands and tells you that she will finish off the masque by blending in other ingredients. She mixes more things in a bowl and starts stirring it.

“I’ll just need you to stand still for a moment,” she says.

Soon your skin starts tingling and a light buzzing emanates from your back. You feel cool air on your back, which is odd since your back is now icier than the polar caps.

“Oh, you’re going to love this,” she says.

The buzzing intensifies as your skin starts to glow a light blue. You feel your face tingle a bit, but that is not nearly as bad as your ears.

“Is it working?” you ask.

“Almost,” she says. “Perfect.”

Zennora then proceeds to wrap a brown fabric (?) bandage around your head, covering your ears. She hands you a pair of linen gloves.

“These will help you keep warm,” she says.

“What was in that stuff?” you ask, putting them on. “It’s like fire is shooting through my ears.”

“Now remember, just stand still and enjoy the warmth.”

Zennora finishes up by wrapping a warm blanket around you. You thank her and are wrapped up to your neck. Zennora laughs and puts away her tools.

“Don’t worry, my dear,” she says, “you’ll get used to it. And just think, you’re experiencing the benefits of good old fashioned alchemy. Pure fun and knowledge!”
